Skype coming to UK mobile phone

According to this blog post Skype and a mobile operator called 3 will offer a model with Skype capability preloaded. I'll be anxious to hear how well the service works. Also I'm wondering if 3 and Skype tweaked the phone to make Skype perform better. I will also be interested to see which OS platform 3 is going to use, Symbian, PocketPC or something else. My experience with Skype on a Sprint PPC6700 where mediocre. How long before Skype teams up to bring this to the US market I wonder or will at&t, Verizon and Sprint Nextel find a way to block entry into the US market. I doubt the rumored Google mobile phone will be Skype based so I guess we will have to wait and see how this develops.

Now at&t is sueing Vonage

As if Vonage hasn't spent enough time in court with Verizon and Sprint Nextel now at&t is going to sue them. I'm surprised Vonage is still holding on with there stock price at $2 a share you have to wonder how much longer Vonage will be around. But this really makes you wonder about VoIP, Verizon, Sprint Nextel and AT&T all have patents in this area how can the small players and startups survive. Let me know your thoughts.
